Exciting Projects: NET Power

For our latest project, we thought of Kermit singing ‘It’s not easy being green’.

Fortunately for all of us who have to share this planet, a few companies are making being green just a tad bit easier.

McDermott, Exelon, 8 Rivers Capital and Occidental all partnered to create NET Power, a plant in La Porte, TX.  This plant uses the Allam Cycle to create cost-effective electrical power with almost zero air emissions.

Not everybody in this office is quite sure what this actually means, but what we do know is that fewer emissions mean a healthier planet.  And that, we can all agree, is great news!
